Everything about getting it lit.

Fire pits are heavy, gas fittings are unforgiving, and every municipality has its own rules about open flame. Here is exactly what to expect.

Delivery

Every unit ships from a warehouse inside the United States. Orders placed before 2pm ET on a business day usually leave the warehouse within 3–7 business days; the largest fire tables sit at the far end of that window.

Service levels

  • Curbside — free over $399 ($49 under). The carrier leaves the boxed unit at your door, garage or building entrance. You do not need to be home.
  • Inside placement — $79. Carried in and set where you want it. The carrier calls or texts to schedule a 4-hour window.
  • White glove — $149. Placed, unpacked, fire media installed in the tray, and every piece of packaging taken away.

Propane is not included

  • Every gas table and bowl runs on a standard 20 lb propane cylinder — the same tank a gas grill uses. Buy one locally; we cannot ship cylinders, and carriers will not accept them.
  • The Trailhead portable runs on a 1 lb disposable cylinder. Never refill a disposable cylinder.
  • Never transport a connected cylinder in a closed vehicle, and store spares outdoors, upright, out of the sun.

What we do not cover

  • Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico: quote required before checkout. Email us the SKU and ZIP.
  • Stair carries above two flights without an elevator on the 118 lb table. The carrier may charge on site, or upgrade to white glove.
  • Storage fees after three failed delivery attempts. We always try to reschedule first.

Before you order: check two things that are not about the product. First, your building or HOA rules — many apartments and rentals prohibit open flame on balconies regardless of fuel. Second, your local burn ordinance: several cities and most of California restrict wood-burning on poor air-quality days, which is why we separate gas from wood in the listing.

Returns

You have 30 days from delivery.

  • Unopened, original packaging: full refund minus the outbound shipping we paid, and we arrange the pickup.
  • Opened, unburned, in resalable condition: refund minus return freight (typically $55–$140 on fire tables). Fire media that has been poured into a tray cannot be resold and is not refundable.
  • Used or burned: not returnable. Once a burner has been lit, the unit cannot be resold as new — the same rule every retailer in this category applies.
  • Damaged in transit: send photos within 48 hours. We ship a replacement part or a full replacement at no cost.

Start a return at [email protected] with your order number. Do not ship a propane cylinder back — drain or disconnect it, leave it with your local hazardous-waste collection, and return only the unit.

Warranty

Three years on the burner, valve, regulator, hose and body against manufacturing defects. One year on ignition components and finish. Fire media and covers are consumables and carry no warranty.

Not covered: rust or discoloration from leaving a unit uncovered, burner damage from standing water, heat damage from using the wrong media, commercial use, or any unit that has been modified, converted to natural gas by an unlicensed fitter, or operated with a damaged hose.

Questions we get most

Do I need to assemble anything?
Legs bolt on in 10–20 minutes with the included tool on the Emberline and Verano. The Caldera needs the base attached to the top with four bolts. The Halcyon bowl sits on its ring with no fasteners, and the wood and portable units need nothing at all. Nobody needs to touch a gas fitting — the hose and regulator arrive assembled and leak-tested.
Is this certified, or just "tested to standard"?
Certified means a third-party body — CSA, Intertek, UL or LabTest — evaluated the finished appliance and listed the model in its public directory. "Tested in compliance" means the factory tested its own prototype, which is not the same thing. Our gas units are ETL listed by Intertek to ANSI Z21.97 / CSA 2.41 — listing report 171017110GZU-001. Check it the way we did: search the Intertek ETL directory by manufacturer and model, and match the code on the rating plate to the one on the carton.
Will it work on a wooden deck?
Yes, with clearance. Every gas unit needs 36 inches to combustibles on all sides and must sit on a non-combustible pad or legs that keep the burner well above the deck surface. Never place a fire table under a covered roof, pergola or umbrella, and never inside a garage or screened porch.
Why is there no star rating on the product page?
Because we are new and we will not invent reviews. The FTC treats fabricated testimonials as deceptive advertising, and you would be right not to trust them. Verified reviews will appear as orders actually ship — until then, judge us on the certificate, the spec sheet, and the return policy.
Gas or wood — which should I buy?
Gas if you want instant heat, no ash and a unit that can sit on a small patio. Wood if you want the smell and the ritual, and you have space 10 feet from anything flammable. If your city restricts wood smoke, gas is the only option that will not get you a citation in July.
Do you offer financing?
No. We do not offer instalments — Affirm and similar services are not available through our payment provider. You can pay with PayPal, or with any debit or credit card through PayPal without creating an account.
Can I convert a propane table to natural gas?
Only with the manufacturer's conversion kit, and only by a licensed gas fitter. Converting without the kit voids the listing and the warranty, and it is the fastest way to get an unsafe flame. We do not sell conversion kits.
Do you ship to Canada?
Not yet. Cross-border freight and brokerage on oversized items make the landed cost unpredictable, and Canadian requirements for gas appliances differ. We would rather not surprise you at the door.
